My goal in creating this site is ~~two~~ three-fold:

Provide a comprehensive resource for sewing techniques and PDF pattern reviews.
Provide a platform to boast about my own amazing creations.

A little about me:

I’ve been sewing since I was 10. I won’t tell you how many years that is, but trust me, that’s a long time, lol. I remember my mother laying the sewing machine pedal on a box so my short, little legs could reach it. My Barbie dolls were very fashionably dressed back then.

In the last few years the world of online pattern and fabric retailers has blossomed. Trying to navigate this not-sew-secret society can be daunting and intimidating. Most companies are small business run by Work-at-home-moms (WAHMs) and trusting them with your hard earned cash can be nerve wracking. As this blog progresses, I will provide a list of my personal preferred retailers. This should give you some peace of mind as you delve into your new sewing obsession… trust me, it will be an obsession!

August 10, 2018 update: I was full of hopes and plans when I originally wrote this post, but the time has finally come and I am now asking you to trust me with your money. Please understand that I was once in your shoes and fully understand your hesitation. With this knowledge, I have gone to great lengths to bring you high quality fabrics that feel silky and have exceptional comfort properties. My french terry is the most amazing FT I’ve ever beheld and my bamboo Lycra is to die for (In my humble opinion)! If you have any concerns, please shoot me an email with your address and I will happily mail you a small swatch so you can touch and feel and know what to expect. <3
